AI, 1️⃣ a group of high-profile scientists, including pioneers Yoshua Bengio and Yann LeCun, wrote a paper on the historical, current and desired relationship between AI and neuroscience. AI 2️⃣, AudioML is a Google AI that produces continuation of sounds starting from a short sample token. The unique thing is that the model is trained on raw sound wave forms, not previously tagged. The example sounds give surprising results especially with the human voice (of course the speech produced is syntactically and semantically correct but nonsense: other generative models applied subsequently think to give it meaning) and the continuation of the token of a piano when, even more surprisingly, there is no symbolic representation of music in the model.
