l’articolo riporta come l’attacco noto come ‘Salt Typhoon’ avrebbe potenzialmente esposto milioni di utenti americani al monitoraggio da parte dei servizi segreti cinesi. Le app di messaggistica criptate usate su Wi-Fi sembrano non essere state compromesse, ma le comunicazioni sulla rete cellulare potrebbero essere per la maggior parte vulnerabili. Anche se non sono ancora note l’entità completa della violazione, la durata dell’infiltrazione e le azioni necessarie per rimuovere gli hacker dal sistema, secondo fonti governative la Cina potrebbe ora avere la capacità di ascoltare qualsiasi chiamata telefonica negli Stati Uniti;
